Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) is a way for us to allow children, ages 5 to 8, to hear the Sunday readings and a reflection that is adapted to their developmental level. At the end of the introductory rite, the presider calls forward those children wishing to participate. They gather at the front of the church with their adult and teen leaders to hear a message from the presider before they are dismissed to their area for the celebration of the Word. The children return to their families in the pews during the Preparation of the Gifts so that they are with us during the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
Adults and teens are invited to serve as leaders for this ministry. If you are interested in learning more about how you can serve this ministry, please contact Kirsten Osborne.
