This session will describe the components of and strategies for proactive, effective end of life decision-making. It will include a description of available tools and resources and review vital components of the crucial communication of one’s goals/wishes with physicians and support persons, family or close friends. Additionally, relevant Catholic teaching regarding life-limiting illness and end of life decisions, as well as, alleviating pain and suffering, will be discussed.
