Experiencing Evil: Christian Approaches to Sin and Suffering
7-8:30pm on Thursday, March 26
Zoom Meeting
Tornados. Property damage. Coronavirus. Stockpiling. Shortages. Panic. Sickness. Isolation. It can all get overwhelming.
Christians have long struggled to understand how evil fits into God's promises of goodness and redemption. Does God will tornados? Did God create the coronavirus? How do we make sense of the chaos around us?
Join CTK director of adult faith formation Jon Stotts and other CTK young adults for a lively discussion of Christian approaches to the problem of evil. There will be ample opportunities for group prayer and shared reflection.
This event will be hosted via Zoom.
You can connect to the session with a computer or your phone. If you don't have access to a camera (either a webcam or your phone's camera), you can still call into the meeting and participate with audio only.
The simplest way to connect is to click on the link under "Join Zoom Meeting," found above. This will take you to a page where you can download the Zoom app to your computer or phone. You are encouraged to go ahead and set this up well before the session on Thursday.
Alternatively, you can use the One tap moble number to dial in via phone. This will give you audio access to the meeting. However, only use this if you're unable to use the app on your computer or phone.
If you run into any technical issues, please don't hesitate to email Jon Stotts at jon.stotts@ctk.nashville.org.
