Girl Scouts

Christ the King offers Girl Scout troops for girls in grades 2 through 6. Parent volunteers lead the troops. Some troops meet weekly in the evenings. Other troops meet monthly. Some troops meet on the school campus; others meet in the leaders' homes.

The girls participate in activities to learn skills and build character and they earn try its, badges or awards. Some activities include camping, skating, bowling and trips to the Zoo. The troops all participate in the annual cookie sale and in Girl Scout Sunday.

The troops are included in the Catholic Committee on Scouting and can earn emblems and patches relating to their faith.
