The Christ the King Grief Ministry offers care and support for parishioners who experience the death of a loved one. Calls and visits to the bereaved are made and grief materials are provided after a death to support those in our parish who are grieving.
A funeral booklet has been prepared by Christ the King Church to assist families, planning a Mass of Christian Burial or Memorial Service for a loved one. It is our hope that by choosing the readings and music with your loved one in mind, you and your family might participate more fully in the liturgy and express your love for the deceased. A copy is available below or in the parish office for preplanning your funeral or the funeral of a loved one.
A Mass of Remembrance and reception is held in November to remember those who have gone before us. The Mass also includes recognition of parishioners who have died in the past year.
