Recently our parish team asked our twin parish why our help is needed, hoping to shed light on the most urgent needs. The answer was simple. "We are trying to survive." Most CTK parishioners have not experienced this need, While we face daily struggles and temporary setbacks, we bounce back and keep going. Our friends in Haiti are living in a struggling economy, a struggle incomparable to ours. They also live among political unrest and daily fears of violence. Our parish team works hard to find new ways to help. From providing school supplies, chairs and desks, contributing to the creation of a tenth grade, and increasing teacher salaries, our parish has stepped up to the team's requests. They also manage our Coffee for Haiti initiative, provide resources and jobs for the Haitians. This will contribute to the long-term stability of their economy,
