Health Ministry

The Health Ministry at Christ the King Church has a mission to promote the wellness of body, mind and spirit for individuals of all ages. This team of volunteers will assist in the facilitation of spiritual health through a wide range of activities, such as monthly health education workshops, annual health fair, health related referral resources, health advocacy meetings, develop support groups, distribute printed health materials, and the promotion of spiritual health and well-being.

The Health Ministry will be directed by a Health Advisory Committee and Faith Community Nurses. The Faith Community Nurse is a Registered Nurse that has completed courses that specialize in addressing health issues and the promotion of healthy behaviors within a faith community.
