Liturgy is how we come together as a community. We also offer many ways to serve in a liturgical sense. Some require a regular commitment, others every once in awhile. We invite you to try something and see how it brings you closer to God and others.
Here are a few items to know about our liturgies at Christ The King:
- On the second Sunday of the month in March, June, September and December, the Sacrament of the Sick is available during all the Masses for those suffering from illness of body or mind. You may also call the Church office to request the anointing or if you have any other spiritual or sacramental needs.
- A book of prayer requests is located in the St. Joseph Chapel. Please feel free to add special intentions or names of persons who are in need of prayer. The Book of Remembrance will be available during the month of October for those who wish to remember those who have died.
- Assisted Listening: Listening devices are available for those who need hearing assistance during the liturgy. Parishioners are also invited to bring headphones and a walkman or small FM radio to Mass and tune to 88.3 FM to listen to the audio program.
- College students and young adults are encouraged to participate in the ministry of Lector, Eucharistic Minister, and altar serving during the 6 PM Sunday Mass.
