SUICIDE PREVENTION
Christ the King parishioners and school parents will gather for a frank discussion about the increased number of suicides in our country and locally within our community. Mental Health Professionals led by Joe McLaughlin, Clinical Psychologist and Christ the King parishioner, will discuss and provide awareness on the risk factors and warning signs for suicide and how we can respond to our youth in crisis.
The panel will include Sara Smith, Christ the King School Counselor; a representative from the TN Suicide Prevention Network; and Bob Forster who lost his brother to suicide.
The question and answer session will be held on Sun., Sept. 30th, at 9:45 am in the West Wing. This is a discussion we need to have. For further information, contact Margaret Emsweller (margaret.emsweller@ctk-nashville.org / 615-777-8918).
