9:30-9:45 |
The facilitator welcomes the participants and asks them to sit at tables in groups of 4-6. She invites them to fill out nametags and to make sure they each have a paper with the questions. |
9:45 |
The facilitator briefly describes the purpose of the sessions (this will be scripted) and gives the few simple instructions:
|
9:50 |
The facilitator offers the synodal prayer asking the Holy Spirit to bless the process (this will be scripted), and then she asks the groups to begin sharing. As they share, the facilitator circulates around the room in case there are questions. At 10 minute intervals, she lets the groups know how much time they have left. The facilitator can remind everyone to make sure everyone gets heard, if this seems necessary. |
10:25 |
The facilitator asks the notetakers to briefly summarize their notes for their group. Is anything important missing? Anything final to add? |
10:30 |
The facilitator then thanks everyone for coming and offers a description of the next phase of the synodal process (this will be scripted). She asks the notetakers to leave their notes at the table. (Zoom version: email the notes to listen@ctk-nashville.org.) To conclude, she invites everyone to stand and pray the Lord's Prayer. |
